ACADEMIC ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORD
AFPC’s academic electronic health record (aEHR) is specifically designed for use in teaching and learning environments. Our goal is to simulate realistic digital patient charts, preparing healthcare students for real world practice. The aEHR is hosted by the University of British Columbia and is connected to their Canvas learning management system. It is being use in all 11 schools of pharmacy, as well as in nurse practitioner programs in Ontario and for interprofessional education.
