ABOUT AFPC
Founded in 1944, the Association of Faculties of Pharmacy of Canada is the national voice for academic pharmacy, providing leadership and resources for faculty members across Canada. AFPC is a registered charity that represents and supports the mandates of our pharmacy faculties. Yearly, more than 1200 new pharmacists graduate from the 11 universities, 225 immigrating pharmacists are trained to access the profession, and about 1000 students are enrolled in relevant graduate programs across the country.

GOVERNANCE
​AFPC is governed by a Board of Directors. Board members are drawn from the Council of Deans and the Council of Faculties, which are made up of representatives from each of the 11 Canadian pharmacy schools. Shawn Bugden is the current AFPC President and Holly Mansell is the AFPC Vice-President. Learn more.

SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS
AFPC has established a number of Special Interest Groups (SIGs) to foster leadership, knowledge sharing and collaboration between Canadian pharmacy schools.
